Installing fonts in Windows 10 via GPO

I am trying to get a bunch of fonts installed to all PCs/laptops across our domain all running Win 10 Edu.

We originally bought the font package JoinIt which includes an MSI which should install the fonts. This no longer seems to work so I would like to just install the fonts directly into the Windows fonts directory.

Is this possible?

Yes it is.

 

You have to copy the Font to the fonts directory and set the registry setting for it. Both can be done with Group Policy Preferences (computer settings side)

A batch file as a startup script calling Fontreg to install the fonts should work. Can't remember off hand when I got Fontreg from as it was ages ago but it definitely works in Windows 10.
