Filtering on student home laptops/devices - recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for internet filtering for student laptops/devices that are off-site?

 

Ideally I'd like something that doesn't have an ongoing cost (perpetual).

Hello. We do this either via our 4g connections at a network level or we can do it using any isp via proxy at captive portal but yes there is a per user charge for none schools broadband customers.

Chromebooks, MACs or Windows or a mix? I would obviously point to Smoothwall and our solutions for this. We cover all OS and have various methods that can be used to fit the profile of what you want to achieve.
