Whilst during the process of backing up our assistant heads laptop (prior to an SSD upgrade) something went wrong (no idea what) and the contents of her profile are gone. I've ran Recuva and restored 3Gb of around 70Gb most of which is useless as it's corrupt. I'm currently running the free version of OnTrack easy recover to get an idea as to what can be recovered before we purchase it. Anyone have ideas as to how I can recover her data?

This is a Domain Joined laptop and we have folder redirection enabled, however, the previous NM created local account for use whilst off site - something I shall be changing shortly

Any help is greatly appreciated

This was prior to the drive being swapped. I was copying the contents of the profile to a Share to be copied back after the upgrade was complete

Is the profile encrypted?
No, it's just been deleted

Sorry, might have sounded a daft question but once spent ages trying to recover a drive that I did not know was encrypted, and weirdly Recuvva recovered files, but these were pre-encryption.

On Track ran and says there's 6Tb worth of data thats recoverable, I'm quite optimistic as the laptop was running from a USB drive and not the boot disk and so hopefully not too much data has been overwritten.

Just need to order the paid for version
