sahilkhan Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Purchased some Refurb SFF desktops from a company , but when the computes arrived i would barely call them refurbished, the state of the Desktops was Poor, dirty from the outside and inside , i looked like the company had only wiped the harddrives and that's about it. i also asked for 8GB RAM but all machines came with 4 GB of RAM , contacted the company about the missing extra ram but i am being Ghosted. any Advice what i can do, should i just return all the computers and ask for a refund ? the company is Gigacycle.co.uk if anyone's intrested thanks
Steve21 Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Well I mean cleaning wise, I guess that's "expected" but not in any actual terms you agreed to Spec wise, did you pay for the RAM upgrades as part of the order? If so the order isn't complete, so don't pay for it yet Assuming you did this via an invoice/purchase order? Steve
Zammo Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 If you are seriously unhappy, inform the company that you will be sending the devices back (at your expense) and inform your finance team that the invoice should not be paid. Take photographs of the damaged equipment and ensure you have your documentation and emails where you requested your spec etc all in once place
ICTDirect_Dave Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 (edited) If you do return the machines, give me a shout. We should be able to sort you out with the finest refurb kit in all the land and get you whatever you need before the end of summer Edited August 4, 2020 by ICTDirect_Dave Being mean about other companies is bad form and I should know better 2
