[sims] NOVA T6 - Rooming

Hi

 

In light of our current planning for September opening,our KS3 form groups (both Y7 and Y8) will be taught in single rooms for almost all lessons. Is it possible in NOVA to associate a room with a form group?

I don't know how to do that, but if you use the "rooming" option it you can assign all rooms for a group with one click, and it does not take long to do all of them.

Yes, the rooming in Nova is only really automated for teachers, so if the room is attached to the class the quickest way is as Nearthemark says. I have had to do this for our "bubble" timetable and found the easiest screen to do it from was the Year timetable - then jsut work through the classes right clicking to get the rooming option.

I did exactly the same (after doing options and specialist rooms).

 

A quick way to check all classes have been roomed is to paste the yearband timetable into excel, and highlight all cells containing # - any unroomed ones then won't light up.
