Mini bus booking system

Hi, we run 11 mini busses in our trust, just wondering if anyone has recommendations of systems that can manage internal bookings from staff?

Depends on what features you want and your budget?

Exchange has resource booking through the calendar, usually used for meeting rooms but it could be used.

MRBS is a room booking system but we have used it for minibuses in the past and is free, beyond your time and server resources.

We currently use Room Booking System from SchoolCloud, again nothing fancy it just books time slots.

 

If you want something dedicated to minibuses then you need to look at some of the bigger school activity systems, like CHG or Schools Buddy. But then you will be paying quite a lot and I think have more functionality than you need.

Does the trust use any software for fleet management or driver management, sometimes these systems have booking facilities in them and can verify drivers against class of vehicle etc plus keeps all fleet stuff in one place.

MRBS, I have that setup for our bookable rooms, trip mobile phones and Chromebooks.

We use the room booking facility on our MIS (Engage), I set up "rooms" for each minibus (and Chromebook trolleys too) so that it's easier for everyone to use, and not another system to keep track of!
