We have had a room numbering changing spree and the list of the old rooms still appear in SIMS.net.

I have had a look on the CAPITA forums and I believe its not possible, but just thought I would check on here to see if it is still the case as its a while ago since it was reported on the CAPITA forum.

I now realise we should have just renamed the existing rooms to the new numbers but didn't think it would be a problem to be able to delete the rooms but in hindsight.....

If its not available does anybody know why CAPITA haven't made it possible? Is it incase the room is still in use in NOVA etc?

Thanks

By rooms do you mean like class names?

I know with FMS6, once a user has been created and orders are raised/authorised, this is all logged/registered within the database, which is usually SQL.

You can't delete any of the users once they've been created because they're "linked" into the whole procedure if that makes sense? I suspect this is the case with Sims, however I would of thought that a user or class (in this case) could still be renamed?

Hi Michael

Its a phyiscal room I want to get rid of not a class name e.g.

Room 1

Boys Gym

Lecture Theatre

The old rooms no longer play a part in the timetables etc.

Thanks

Can I revive this thread? Is filtering available now? We know that it is impossible to delete the rooms, but they do not show up in normal use of SIMS. Where and how is the filtering imposed to achieve this?
