blueday Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Always loved the Foundation books, but as I already subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Now TV (to get Sky Atlantic, as I'm on Virgin), and get Disney + from another family member's subscription, I don't really want to subscribe to yet another streaming service

jthompson Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Having read through the first few books I'm now getting stuck into book 4. I'm really enjoying them, in spite of the valid criticism about them being populated almost entirely by male characters (particularly earlier on). Considering they were written about 70 years ago, that's probably the only way in which they're showing their age. I don't have Apple TV+ and probably won't get it, but that trailer looks very tempting.

Dos_Box Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Season 2 due Summer. Must get around to Season 1! I really (really) enjoyed the first season and can't wait to watch the second. I know some Azimov purists found umbrage with it, and possiby righty so, but I thought it was very well done and had a great cast. Jared Harris is, as usual, superb and Lee Pace as Day is amazing. He also gets to deliver the most cruel and sinister monologue ever in the final episode. It should have won him awards!
