New Government Laptop, ok but will trip users up...

Hi everyone,

 

Ive kinda been thrown into the deepend as Ive just started at a school that has Dynabook laptops as part of the COVID scheme. However I can't add our firewall certificate to the devices as we dont have the admin pssword. Does anyone know who I would need to contact regarding this? I emailed [email protected] but had no response.

Someone at your school might have had the email from DFE, it was passed onto us and we were able to log into a site to get BIOS and local Admin passwords.

Someone in the school should have a login to https://computacenterprod.service-now.com/dfe This will give you access to BIOS and local admin creds

Thanks all for the info, just to confirm to login to the dynabooks if you have been sent the password you need to use

 

.\localadmin Once I got that worked out it became easy to reset the damn thing!

 

Once I got in as admin I simply promoted the local user to an administrator.

 

Simples...
