We’ve had nothing but issues with Edge and IE with Teams, we only support Teams on Chrome (or the desktop client) which although not perfect, is far better than the aforementioned....

On the contrary, as I only support (Chromium) Edge and we don't have Chrome on school devices, I've had no issues with it. I haven't tested 3x3 on it yet, only in the app, but the app is built on Chromium via Electron too. Our users at home may well be using Chrome instead, or the app. Edited by 3s-gtech

With no MSI to deploy the desktop app to teacher's desktops in school I've been trying to get them all to use the browser version but some are insistent they have the app so they can use the 3x3 grid.

However it's no use me installing it as it goes to my C:\users area and my staff do not have rights to install software - so I'm kinda stuck!

The installer still copies to C:\Users when that user runs it. I managed to get that to work, by manually copying it across for a user as an admin. Once it was there, it continued to work fine.

So to clarify you installed Teams for you then copied your Teams folder in to another users App folder?
