THe Option to default Duplex and Grayscale settings, at the time of print release looks useful as staff never remember to change to option in the print settings. At least this way they will have a second chance to change.

Does that come up in a box before printing then?

We have it defaulted to Greyscale and staff can change it in the print settings box when sending something to print. Having this as an option on screen at the copier will be great.

For all the noise they are making about this, I don't really see anything that good in the release..

It depends on what you find valuable as an organisation.

If you have Lexmark devices then your life just changed for the better.

If you use print deploy or mobility then you have new features to look forward to that make life easier for your users, they can print from anywhere or roll out queues of their choice easily without you touching GPO

If you use EPIC for EMR then your printing setup got a lot easier

If you have a load balancer your install of papercut can now be even more highly available

If you were waiting for device scripting on a bunch of new platforms, you can.
