Hardware specifications for laptops to run Autodesk inventor software

I am planning to buy 15.5 inch of Windows laptop to run Autodesk - Inventor software for students use.

 

Please let me know the hardware specifications for laptops that can run inventor software and vendors would be great.

The minimum specs are quite high, you are going to need some beefy laptops by the looks of it.

 

I use AutoDesk Fusion at home on a Xeon E3-1226 3.30Ghz (4 core), 20GB Systtem Ram, 2GB of GPU Ram and a SSD for system disk and for what I throw at it i.e. simple 2D/3D Cadcam (CNC Mill and 3D Printing) designs I would say it performs OK, hangs occasionally but that could just be all the other stuff I have loaded, I do not do any animation/simulation.

make sure you have a lot of ram if you going to do this make sure running sdd as well it work fine i have tested this out with know problems

Not sure about inventor but we have some Core i5 laptops with 8GB of RAM running Fusion 360. Student's don't normally make multi component models so you don't tend to have issues. We have some more powerful desktops which have nvidia quadro P400 card I think they are in.
