We have brought i new sink (Well ex showroom) to replace our stainless steel one.

Our new sink has 2 bowls rather then then 1 bowl. The new sink is the other way around. (Comes with the tap hole ready cut out)

I'm trying to work out what parts i need to connect the waste up.

As you can see i have 2 appliance waste (D/W & W/M) and the waste exits down the right side.

I was looking at one of these to join the 2 wastes up: https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-1-bowl-sink-kit-trap-white-40mm/6295p

Guessing i will need some more pipe for waste?.

Any thoughts?. - Please don't take the mick. Learning how to do this my self. Yes i know the cupboards a mess.

That should work. You might need a length of pipe and a spare coupler (was going to write joint, but that didn't sound right [emoji6]) to make things meet up.

Where the drain leaves the cupboard, the pipe joints are glued - you'll probably have to cut that to make it join to your new bits.

It doesn't apply to most people, but I'll say it to an Edugeek: use your common sense and you'll be fine [emoji41]

Only hints I can think of are:

Make sure none of the pipes run uphill,

Make sure the joints are aligned. If you force an angle, the joint will be under strain and could leak - to avoid that make sure to cut the pipes to the correct length

Empty the cupboard first and maybe leave it empty until you've run a full cycle of dishwasher and washing machine (assuming that's what the appliance drains are for) and emptied the sinks a couple of times. You want to be certain there are no leaks.

You on the right track you may need a small length of 40mm from the drop down and coupler, don't forget silicon sealant and PTFE tape or you could get this one with drop down.

You'll definitely need PFTE tape if you've got metal threads to attach the taps. The last time I fitted a sink, it specifically said not to use silicon as it could stop the built in seals working properly. However when I fitted a basin, I did need silicon to fit the plug hole. Worth reading the instructions...

The drain connectors should have rubber seals built in and only need to be hand tight - you'll want to be able to undo them to clear blockages, so no silicon there.

Is your sink new? If so, I'd expect it to be supplied with some fittings to join the waste and overflow from the two bowls to a single point where you can attach the trap.

If not (or you have no parts) the one @JATSO mentioned has greater flexibility to accommodate different basin outlet heights.

Another option is to add two traps and make the join in your waste water pipes after the traps - this means simpler, cheaper traps but a bit more room wasted under the sink.
