Hi. I seem to be getting myself mighty confused with Intune licencing at the moment. Can anyone tell me if the Intune for Education licence actually includes access to the full Intune console as a few articles I've read online seem to indicate that you do have access to all the settings the full console offers but with the addition of the simplified education console for those that want to use that?

Also for licencing I've been quoted a figure of around 70p per staff member per month which includes 15 student licences. This is going through our EES licence but as I understand it isn't done on FTE count, rather on how many staff licences I request.

Does that sound correct as this has got me going round in circles! (I understand it is also included in the EMS A3 licence but we don't have this).

Thanks.

You pay per FTE but then can request more Staff licenses for free.

I haven’t come across anything not included in the EDU version yet and I use the full blown management not the Intune for Education portal

Thanks, so just to clarify you have the Intune for EDU standalone faculty licence added to your EES using your FTE and don't pay per faculty user per month?

We won't need a licence for every member of the FTE so just trying to figure this out.

Correct

Just out of interest how much are you paying for the licences based on FTE? How many FTE do you have? We are looking at Intune and would be good to have a benchmark.

Off the top of my head it’s about 0.97p per month per FTE

EDIT:

It’s closer to 50p per month so about £6 per year per FTE

Thats good to know. We are a special needs organisation so we have a lot of staff compared to the amount of computers to I wonder if they have device licencing?
