I've been looking for a list of badwords, and can't really find any.

I'm adding keyword URL filtering to my ISA server and although I've added a ton of words I know that aren't suitable for school use , I know there are more out there. If anybody has a list, please let me know.

Remember that it isn't just standard characters that are used these days:

ba$tard

$h!t

for example, and the list goes on. I see these two used quite often.

Exactly, i banned the keyword "games" on websense so they changed it to "gam3s" & "g4mes"

This may need a little reformatting but should provide some inspiration:

Don’t open that if you have securus on your machine, it will have a field day :)

Who ever wrote that list is:- a) an American, and b) not very imaginative. I could swear better than that when I was a teenager.

I have to agree, must be American. We're not nearly as profanely articulate as the UK. What's a bollock?

I found a list from that's pretty good.

BTW, what's a bollock?

Most men have two, a few, (including Hitler) only have one. It hurts if you get kicked in them.

It helps that we have the Anglo-Saxon and Norman cultures to draw on. I believe that if the curse is short sh!t for example, it is A.S. in origin, with the longer bast@rd crossing the channel with the conquest. And for those that didn't do history, William the Conqueror was also known as William the Bastard; because he was!
