Hi All,

We currently have an issue where staff working from home need support, we remote on with Quick Assist but cannot use our admin rights. As when a UAC prompt pops up it blanks the screen. We thought this might be down to a setting in Intune, i found this article and gave it a shot: https://www.theexperienceblog.com/2019/10/24/fixing-uac-elevation-when-remote-controlling-via-quick-assist-or-teamviewer-etc/ but no dice.... Teamviewer also doesn't work even with using the advanced setting with our windows login.

Anyone been able to get admin rights over a remote connection working?

Cheers

We're using zoho assist. There are free accounts available, but we decided to purchase a pro licence. Not stupid money to be honest. Zoho alloys you, once connected to 'run as a service' this then allows you to elevate via the remote connection - it just asks for local admin creds.

We found the issue... if you can call it that..... after looking into it for an hour or so. Turns out my Manager forgot to assign it to a group!!! Assigned it and it worked.
