Sims daily attendance

Can someone point me in the direction of how to find the daily attendance figures in sims? I have the attendance summary on my sims home page, but this gives the total for the week, not the day. We are a primary school, so only 2 sessions a day.

 

I'm sure this should be simple, but I can't see where it's hidden without running a report and calculating it myself.

On your SIMS homepage, if you already have an attendance summary on the homepage and don't mind editing it, go to the drop down arrow at the top right of it > Configure

 

Change the "Cycle" to "Today" rather than "Week to Date" and then hit OK. This should update the dashboard widget to show a summary of the day.

 

You can add additional copies (e.g. Attendance Summary for Day, Attendance Summary for the Week) by going to Configure on the homepage and then adding an additional attendance summary (increase the number of additional panels if needed)

If i'm understanding you right, just hit the blue arrow top-right of that summary block - you can set cycle to "Today".
