Jobos Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I've been having a play with Yodeck digital signage and so far I'm quite impressed. The scheduling will be great at turning on and off the TV at the beginning and end of the day and having different content displayed at different times of the day but one question that's playing on my mind is how can I get admin staff to easily update content without getting lost? All I'm expecting them to do is to update a page or two with daily events.

I've had a few signs working with it before now, and it's worked really well. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-sign-builder/odjaaghiehpobimgdjjfofmablbaleem
Jobos Posted March 11, 2020 Author Posted March 11, 2020 It appears I spoke too soon. Just found Yodeck can read pdf, word, powerpoint and excel files so testing that now.
RobFuller Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Slightly off topic but can anyone recommend decent UK reseller for Yodeck, my finance dept refuses to purchase in USD.
Jobos Posted June 22, 2020 Author Posted June 22, 2020 We just have the one Yodeck running so bought the Raspberry Pi from Amazon and installed the software. https://www.amazon.co.uk/CanaKit-Raspberry-4GB-Starter-Kit/dp/B07XH3HWTQ

Danp Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 I have 10 Yodeck licenses running in school. Very pleased with it.

Danp Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Where did you purchase them from if you dont mind me asking? Direct from them, contacted them first, negotiated a discount and paid, but we did pay in $
RobFuller Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Yeah the $ part is where I'm getting stuck! Cheers
leegcvcc Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 We love Yodeck here. First year i've had Yodeck since going from Samsung MagicInfo. Similar thought about the people updating it, but they have been shown how and now do it fine. I think I paid on a school credit card and it was in dollars but gets converted obviously. Finance no longer accept shillings and old pennies anymore
