Does anyone have any contacts for SSDs? I need a good price to help refurb a number of computer rooms in the mad times that we live in.

Pricing is so marginal on them it's rare to see more than a few pence differences from either our friendly local box shifters or Ebuyer - the latter quite often comes in cheaper.

Do your future self a favour and fork out for the 240GB over the 120GB. We did a similar operation a few years back and have spent a lot of time since doing it again for 240's. 120GB is just too close for comfort for our usage nowadays.

We just clean user profiles every 6 months to a year. Job done.

That's my rationale for the 240GBs and always has been.

Not even close to filling our 120s, even with adobe CS5, solidworks and sibelius in some cases - profiles aren't stored locally anyway and very rarely a need to do that these days!

We tend to get parts from Primo IT - they are on the ITRAP framework on the NWUPC

I used them at easter. I just wanted to see if i could get better prices. They were £26.72 ex VAT for 240GB SSDs

Ebuyer was £27 for 240GB wanted to see if i can do better.

That's my rationale for the 240GBs and always has been.

All of the SSDs i have gotten this year have been 240s. Althought my techs originally said go for 128. It seemed silly.
