MS Teams Naming convention

Hi

 

Does everyone have a naming convention on what you name your Teams? We are planning to start using this for our central services team but not to classes so any advice would be great.

 

Im new to teams so i'm trying to get my head round what we can use it for specifically for Finance, HR, Facilities etc..

Keep it short and sweet as if you start Syncing SharePoint Library's that come with the Teams then the path for them is long if the team name is say "Joe Blogs Academy Financial Reporting Team" as that all is part of the file path and then you hit stupid 1980s character limits with Excel. So we have lived and learnt from that where I am and keep everything short so each team has a group ID at the start and we have shortened everything down as much as we can.
