Google File stream and Drive

Anyone having issues accessing Office files from File stream and Drive today?

 

Our whole school cannot access any documents.

 

Although Google slides, docs works.

 

Everything fine until today.

 

Issue on Win7 & 10.

Our issue started yesterday late afternoon.

 

Users now seem to be able to open some documents but not others.

If we sign out of File Stream, we now cannot sign back in.

We can now sign in but having issues opening Office documents.

 

Have updated to the latest Google file stream.

Also whats in File Stream its not syncing with Google Drive via Chrome.

Could it be a firewall issue for you? Google Sheets, etc. will open from File Stream by opening the document's URL in a browser, whereas more general files rely on being downloaded on demand in the background to the local cache before being opened from there. Sounds like something is getting in the way of File Stream's sync/download mechanisms or the getting in the way of if it maintaining a local cache. AV could be stepping in and preventing File Stream from storing things in the local cache, but I think the GUI will suggest that anyway under the 'Notifications' tab.
