Sourcing HP Printer parts

Just a cautionary note for anyone who finds themselves looking for a spare part like a power supply unit for an HP printer or similar.

 

It pays to get hold of the part number from someone who already has the same unit and then doing a search based on that rather than trying to get a part from one of the spares shops on google.

 

I learned the hard way and paid more than double the unit price for a K850 Power supply unit which, on receiving I discovered was available for just over half when I searched based on the unit code.

 

HP Replacement Printer Parts And Spares Supply For Laser, Inkjet And Other Computer Printers - Express Group is my next port of call as I've been hit with another K850 ebay bargain that has no PSU... Not bad for £25 inc postage mind

I'll add that Express Group are great had various bits from them personally over the years and they are very good.
