Film now to release on HBO Max and where cinemas are open on Xmas Day.

 

I totally understand that they need to try to recoup some of their spend, but can't help but feel that cinema is on its last legs if this strategy carries on.

 

I also wonder if films of this scale will be on their way out. Guess it depends on how much they can recoup via streaming.

This should be showing at your local cinema, if open, from next Wednesday. Ours is only charging £3.50 per seat! I could've used my Meerkat code but figured they deserved "full" price.

I know the Government have told Cinemas that they can open at 50% capacity, but with that high a number I can't see how that would give 2 metres distance... so I think I will stay at home.

If the "crowds" for Tenet are anything to go by, there won't be many at our cinema; especially as a lot will just be waiting until it's "available" later on Xmas Day.
