Hosting Job Application form online

We have a couple of Job Application Forms in DOC format, we'd like people to be able to fill these out online. (Ipad./mobile users). Has anyone done this with Frog? Or some other service? What about MS Forms although that looks like surveys.

If you’re planning on storing the data, you need to be 100% certain it’s secure.

 

We locked down a form in Word which the candidate could email to us and sign at interview or print and send by snail mail. My governor MAT has done the same.

 

HR will require some type of signature to verify the information submitted is accurate as this forms part of the contract of employment

I always ended up converting it to a doc and spending ages getting it sorted out

I did however get a lot of compliments about how good my application was compared with the normal ones

Yup - because I used teh IT skills you wanted to sort out

 

SO - Doc is good - actually I have seem some pdf things that allow you to fill them in - would have been good if they worked though

 

 

so - I would go with doc at the moment

It always felt to me that navigating and fixing the appalling application form was part of the application process. I wonder how many prospective employers evaluate how well you've manipulated their form, as a measure of your office skills.

We host our application forms as editable PDFs. They're actual forms though so the fields can be filled in, saved and then emailed across to our recruitment address or printed and posted in.

 

I actually converted the form to a PDF as bad application forms annoy me...

I always used to love firms that had decent application forms that worked - it just paints the whole organisation in a better light - rather than a badly setup up form

 

Some of the forms I had to fill in were nearly impossible - things like insisting on entering ALL qualifications - but only having space for about 5 or 6 lines on it

 

makes the whole organisation look slap dash

similar to having a website that is years out of date

I have been asked to facilitate this and am struggling for ideas.

 

Below is an example of an application form.

They want the candidates to fill it online.

Not be a pdf (if possible).

Have the ability to "grow" if certain sections require further information.

Look like the attached application when they come to read it.

 

Something like Forms is too simple and some kinda Power Automate mashup potentially has me on the hook for updating it forevever.
