Mine arrived. Mrs Ditto has already suggested sending them to a good friend, who's famous for his love of colourful socks, for Xmas. I'd need a second pair for that as he only wears odd socks, but after attending today's webinar, I guess that's possible - just need them to clash with the purpley ones!

Received mine last week-- just after having a tooth out - so they cheered me up a lot!!

Hope they are bringing you comfort, despite the pain you're in with your tooth! :D

 

Nothing beats a freebie after the cost of some dental work I suppose?!

How excited!? I'll tell you how excited I am buddy! When I heard that VeryPC were exhibiting at BETT I LITERALLY jumped out of my seat, sprinted into assembly and screamed "VeryPC are exhibiting at BETT for the first time ever!". The staff and pupils jumped up and starting hugging and crying and asking if it was really true? Had the day that we had all dreamt of finally come? Some wouldn't believe! Some *couldn't* believe and some thought I was straight up crazy but "Yes!" I shouted, "its true! Its time to pack your things, leave the old world behind and travel to a new dawn emerging on 22-25 JANUARY 2020 at EXCEL London"

 

I then ran into the street and marched up and down with a megaphone telling everyone who would listen the good news. It travelled fast and soon we gathered a crowd of 1000's. Men, woman and child flocked to hear the incredible, unbelievable, astounding proclamation. On hearing my shout, an old man who had been bedridden, took his first faltering steps for 20 years and grabbed me with this trembling hands. "Please" he pleaded "please sir, tell me it has finally happened, please tell me that VeryPC is finally exhibiting at BETT." I held that old man by the shoulders and looked deep into his eyes and nodded, "Yes, its finally happened my friend, its finally happened." "Yippee!" he screamed as he threw away his cane, jumped in the air and clicked his heels together.

 

Once the coaches had arrived as people started filing in, ready for the long journey to reach the promised land, I took a moment to reflect. As I saw those beaming faces, waiting to be leave and travel to the VeryPC BETT stall where they could learn all about the latest models of Broadleafs, Thinbooks and Glides, I realised that this wasn't about me, it was about them and the joy that you can bring to others. That, and a pair of socks.

I've just shed a tear. I feel like this needs to be made into a movie immediately. The socks my friend, are yours.

Socks, just one pair of socks! This is an Oscar winning performance. I suggest sending at least two pairs or there could be an e-petition for much, much more.
