MatthewL Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 Has anyone got 10 IoT working on a Pi successfully?
noelmm Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 I tried this a few weeks ago and the install process was simple however the performance was poor in my opinion so I quickly ditched it and went back to Noobs for what I needed.
MatthewL Posted October 11, 2019 Author Posted October 11, 2019 I cannot get mine to boot, just stuck on the rainbow screen. Any tips? I used the dashboard to put the image onto the SD card.
noelmm Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 I used the dashboard as well. Have you downloaded the image again, it could be a corrupt image or try changing the SD card for another one. What are you trying to use Windows 10 IoT for?
MatthewL Posted October 14, 2019 Author Posted October 14, 2019 I will have another look when I get 5. I've got a Windows based monitoring app that I would like to install on a few sites that are Mac only, just a MSI installer, presume I can do this with it?
Arthur Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 just a MSI installer, presume I can do this with it? Nope. The MSI won't work since the Raspberry Pi is an ARM-based computer.
MatthewL Posted October 14, 2019 Author Posted October 14, 2019 Well that's that out the window then, thanks.
