Have a user who is getting the expected download speeds, but any uploads start off at a reasonable speed and then tail off, taking an age to complete (if at all).

Machine was recently upgraded to 1903, and initially everything seemed fine. So far I've checked physical connections and futzed around with the MTU setting. Anyone got any bright ideas?

If upload to another machine on the users local network is unaffected then issue could be router or isp rate limiting I suppose. You could try setting up a VPN and uploaded through that to see if that makes any difference in speed. Lastly - all upload or just to a single site the user is using?

For testing I always like to disable all the hardware accelerated features usually labelled offload. This has helped with a range of strange errors over the years. Also force the link speed...because.

Just in case this comes up on searches, tried all sorts of things and what worked in the end was setting the speed on the network card to 100 Mbps/Half Duplex rather than Auto Negotiation. If I'm understanding it correctly I've actually throttled down the theoretical maximum speed of the connection, but the user is happy!
