Wasn't quite sure where else to post this..

Has anyone got any experience of VR/AR in classrooms?

We're trying to look at alternative ways of teaching in the classroom and this was one of the options that was thrown at me. We're experimenting with AR on iPads at the moment which is going down well but perhaps look at getting either some phones and Google Cardboard or maybe a full VR headset,

Any suggestions or examples would be appreciated :)

We had Google come in at my last place once and demoed some kit apparently. We weren't that involved with it though.

From a lot of schools point of view - we're still using kit that should have long been retired out of use. So I can't see the VR aspect of "edtech" becoming a reality anytime soon, when the "new" computers I have to install are already over 5x years old.

We use a small set of VR headsets from Classvr, the same company that make learnpads. I found their learnpads to be terrible, but the VR kit is actually ok, nicely wrapped up in an easy to manage package, ideal for primary school.
