[ms office - 2016] Block Excel spreadsheet based on author

Hi,

 

We have a lot of students who have games saved to their home drives which are embedded in to Excel sheets. All these games have the same author. Is there any way to block the spreadsheets from opening based on author?

I'm assuming that these games use Macros to function? If so, why not just block Macros from running in Excel? Should work fine unless students have a specific need for them.
