Hey All

i have bit of an issue i cant seem to resolve, I removed some software called Print Audit from our print server because we had loads off issues. Since i removed the software today i am dealing with lots of printing issues.

1 - when sending print they turn up in the print ques but its not pushing the jobs to the printers

2 - stop and starting the spooler does nothing

3- rebooting the sever everything works for couple of minutes

4 - i have noticed that in the windows\system32\spool\printers there is a .tmp file if i clear the folder again i will print one or two prints.

bit lost on what to do with our rebuilding

I thought print audit was just to audit ink levels but it could have more functionality. Have you checked what kind of ports your printers are using? Edited by fredbayker

Ports is where I would start, try adding an existing printer as a new printer on the server and see what happens.
