Uber22 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Hey All i have bit of an issue i cant seem to resolve, I removed some software called Print Audit from our print server because we had loads off issues. Since i removed the software today i am dealing with lots of printing issues. 1 - when sending print they turn up in the print ques but its not pushing the jobs to the printers 2 - stop and starting the spooler does nothing 3- rebooting the sever everything works for couple of minutes 4 - i have noticed that in the windows\system32\spool\printers there is a .tmp file if i clear the folder again i will print one or two prints. bit lost on what to do with our rebuilding
SpaceInvader83 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 I know it's an obvious one but you are ok for disk space? Also there is an issue sending jobs from certain win 10 software like the default photo viewer can cause issues with certain print drivers.
Jcx500 Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 Do you have any tools sitting on top, papercut etc?
Uber22 Posted September 9, 2019 Author Posted September 9, 2019 i had some software call print audit on there but i have removed it now
fredbayker Posted September 9, 2019 Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) I thought print audit was just to audit ink levels but it could have more functionality. Have you checked what kind of ports your printers are using? Edited September 9, 2019 by fredbayker

Have you checked what kind of ports your printers are using? Ports is where I would start, try adding an existing printer as a new printer on the server and see what happens.
