[1903, au] BGinfo not working properly in Windows 10

Hi all,

 

We migrated all of our clients from Windows 10 1803 to Windows 10 1903 over the summer.

 

BGinfo got staff and administrators works perfectly for us.

 

BGinfo for students on the other hand does not.

 

All three BGI’s point to the same background image of the school logo. The students get the bginfo data on the corner of the desktop but not the background/logo behind it.

 

As I say it’s fine for staff and admins. No permissions have been changed over the summer.

 

If I change the staff login script to use to student bginfo file it works for staff.

 

If I change the student login script to use the staff bginfo it displays the correct bginfo but not the background/logo behind it.

 

Has anyone see this or does anyone have any suggestions?

 

I can get to the background jpg image as a student outside of Bginfo (not that I sjpildnneed access to it).

 

I’ve rolled a PC back to 1803 and everyone works fine for a student on that, so it doesn’t make sense to me.

 

All students use the same super mandatory profile (that they’ve used since 1703).

 

Any suggestions welcome!

i was having a simular issue with BGinfo, and because of all the issues it was having i ended up changing to @DJ-1701's wallpaper generator that puts the info you might require
