Microsoft.net on Windows 10 workstations pre - installed for SIMs

I have been told I do not need to install microsoft.net framework as it is done by Windows 10 update. Looking in the update history it seems to confirm this.

 

Could anyone confirm whether this is all that is needed, or does it need to be installed separately too please?

 

I have installed via Solus 3 UI from server and all seems fine.

 

Any help appreciated as this is the first time I have done it

Windows 10 1903 supports the latest version of SIMS.net out of the box with no need to update the framework. Likely that older versions of 10 do too. Updates to the framework can be pushed out via WSUS or your tool of choice.

I know that 2012 R2 and 8.1 don't out of the box - the bundled version is too old - just as a reference.
