I think unrestricted personalised plates are a recipe for disaster (just like this), and am glad the UK doesn't allow them. Not sure why the US does to be honest (income for the DMV probably...)

In Australia you can have pretty much anything. Including Emojis in some states!

In my state the population is low. Just a quick check online at some plates I could order for $200 a year.

I quite like the idea of "SUDO" on the front of my car, though. After a busy day managing computer systems, it's sometimes a reality shock to not be a superuser of the road network on the way home. I'd like to be able to 'kick' fellow drivers off the road (well, executive german saloons with no concept of thinking distance) and drive "as admin" past the queues.

Edit: On second thoughts, do I not just need to put the word "Audi" on my car?

';drop database speedingFines; perhaps?

Reminds me of that old tale about this notorious speeder and law-breaker "Prawo Jazdy", who nobody could find, until the police found out Prawo Jazdy was Polish for "Driving License" :getmecoat:

Or the protagonist in "Idiocracy" who gets accidentally renamed "Not Sure" by bad voice recognition software; he is known by "Mr Not Sure" for the rest of the film - I mean, the computer says his name is "Not Sure" so that's what it must be, right? :bowl::bowl::bowl:
