CEDAR and SIMS integration

We have been tasked with implementing CEDAR with SIMS. CEDAR is going to be the front end and SIMS is still going to contain all the relevant data. I have been working with the people who have created CEDAR but this is the first time they have tried to link it up with SIMS. We are in the process of mapping the fields from SIMS to CEDAR but any help and or tips would be most useful as this is new territory for us all.
