Has anyone else had an issue with AD user not being picked correctly? We had a number of issue were the user gets picked up as the Administrator not the correct user by the PA-220?

We had a similar issue with a Fortigate that was caused by our A/V checking for updates in the background, we excluded the account from the ad sync which solved it for us.

We've had intermittant cases of that happenning when users connect to our BYOD network and the Aruba ap's not passing on details.

 

Are you using the User ID agent or the agentless method for user ID?

The agentless method is really slow to change user for a start...

But this machine also has the VPN client I thought that was suppose to help identify the user.
