I have recently been told that I have arthritis in my wrist. My current employer has said they will get some a new keyboard and mouse. So I'm looking for recommendations on what to get.

I'm not sure about the keyboard - but we have a couple of staff who use a vertical mouse, as that's apparently a more 'natural' position for the wrist.

We've not changed the keyboards that people usem with wrist issues (that's 3 people here) they use fairly elderly, but perfectly working Logitech Internet 350 keyboardsand they don't seem to have any issues with those. One of our wrist issue sufferers has a Logitech Trackball, one has a Logitech vertical mouse - the new one that has been all over social media recently - and one has an Anker Vertical mouse.

I use a track ball (a 15 year old Logitech Marble Mouse). I use it in the left hand, even though I'm right handed. It took a bit of getting used to, but I've never looked back. I use a Dell SK-8115 keyboard. They are quite flat which helps me. I've got a couple of spares for when mine dies, but I don't think that will happen any time soon as they are quite robust. The Mac keyboard is quite good too; again it is quite flat.

We have a few staff here using virtical mice (mostly Anker).

Keyboard wise, we have a couple of Kenesis keyboards (not that popular) around, and also Microsoft Ergo keyboards (you may want to avoid sharing an office with those users, as depending on user can be very clicky).

What I will say, is try and see if one of your local Occupational therapy/mobility shops near by have some. If they don't they may be able to offer suggestions on where they might have some. I say that, simply because everyone is different and have slighly different positionings etc.
