tarquel Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Can someone post theirs? I cant seem to get it to install XP UA without having either the silly EN symbol / language bar at the bottom, or without the Location setting as United States instead of UK [all the other settings are UK but the US one is still there]. Brain just wont work properly lol Any thoughts from your winnt.sif files ppl? Cheers Nath
Ric_ Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Haven't got my sif file here with the thing you need but if you use the Windows Setup Manager to generate your file, this will generate your script perfectly
E1uSiV3 Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 SystemLocale=00000809 UserLocale=00000809 InputLocale=0809:00000809 But, you still get US keyboard, i am looking at ways to remove it but for now have failed
Ric_ Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Will check mine tomorrow but I'm pretty sure you don't get a US keyboard.
tarquel Posted February 22, 2006 Author Posted February 22, 2006 Thats exactly what I have E1uSiV3 but after a install, I get the silly EN symbol and if you go to the "Regional and Language Settings" control applet thingy, at the bottom where it says Location, you get United States oddly. Just checked and the keyboard is fine [uK]. Any thoughts? Nath
