robjduk Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Hello all, As the title says, my school just purchased Sibelius Ultimate multiseat however I don't have a link for the licence server download for some reason. I vaguely remember I had a similar issue with 7.5 and unless things have changed their support is a little slow. If someone would be kind enough to send me just the licence server via Onedrive/Google Drive etc I would be very appreciative and would make my Tuesday morning go alot smoother. Never sure why they can't just link this on their website as its useless without the licence key anyway? Anyway thank you all.
bald_pig Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 You can download it from your Avid master account.
robjduk Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 You can download it from your Avid master account. Alas it does not appear for reasons currently unknown. It would really help if someone could send me an exe without me having to talk to their support which I remember is slow as balls.
AJWhite1970 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 It's showing on mine, sadly you might have to endure death by Greensleeves and ask them why it's disappeared from your portal

Don't suppose you or anyone else would be happy downloading that and sending the zip to me please? Thanks

Thanks Nobody else can download it for you. We only have your word about the license, sorry, and doing so would be against EduGeek rules and the downloader’s locense conditions Edited June 17, 2019 by elsiegee40
robjduk Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Didn’t realise this was against the rules. This is just the licence server I’m asking for and not a licence which is useless without the licence behind it. Bit like asking for a windows iso so not sure why this thread has been like pulling my teeth out. I have the licence yet not the software to run it.
OverWorked Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 (edited) Did you get this fixed? The Avid master account web-page is a pain. We currently have a license on there without a system ID, so we can't activate it. I've had a ticket open for over a week and they still haven't fixed it. They want to remote in as if that's going to fix their website. I phoned yesterday and spent 50 minutes on hold before having to give up. Edited July 10, 2019 by OverWorked

Still bouncing between the company who sold it and their support and been going on for quite some time now. Sadly no one on here could help (all seemed to think I was trying to steal someones licence keys ) Anyway the quest continues. Luckily I used a well known education reseller who seems to be on the case. Good luck with Avid.
nwkeene Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 (edited) The Licence server software should be on the original Sibelius installation DVD... according to the sibelius notes i have... and has been said previously, your avid master account... but if you have neither... you're a bit stuck... good luck on your hunt.. bald_pig Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 (all seemed to think I was trying to steal someones licence keys ) No, it's against the rules of the forum and the terms of the licence agreement with Avid.
