Cisco Meraki

Just trying to enrol a couple of IOS devices (Iphone and Ipad) on Cisco Meraki and new to Cisco Meraki all goes ok except on the Compliance bit Status says Connected, Enrolled, but red cross on compliance and says "You are not compliant for following reasons:" (). Passcode not present." but their is code set on devices so not quite sure why it won't pass. Have set a couple of Samsung phones on our Cisco Meraki and these went ok.

How are you enrolling your devices? I managed to get iPads hooked up with Meraki via Apple Config 2.

Cheers Just installing Meraki on the IOS deivice then entering Network ID and Installing not using Apple Config seems ok with Android devices just getting the issue with IOS devices.

Go the the Meraki dashboard, find the device. Open the Mobile Security tab and click Clear Passcode. Reset the passcode on the mobile device.

Supervised ? I am now working in a business environment moved from Education couple of years back.

you would still want them supervised using Apple configurator or DEP.

 

 

this lets you manage and secure them properly as some functions only work when supervised
