Stop pupils removing Ipad MDM profile

AFAIK there`s no way of hiding or stopping removal of the MDM\Apple Configurator profile on IOS, is this still the case?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop the pupils taking this off?.

 

Words got around now on the location of the profile and that if they remove this then they can get to apps which were hidden using Apple configurator and\or Lightspeed.

In Apple Configurator you can make the profile password protected. Or in most MDM solutions you can tick a box preventing its removal.

In order to prevent users from removing the MDM profile you would need to use DEP. Profiles containing configuration from AC2 you can add a passcode to prevent removal when configuring them.

Thank you. Sorry forgot to mention we only have the MDM profile on. We will look into the DEP option
