I've just sent an email to someone and the time on my system clock had just clicked over to 15:25. However, I go to my Sent Items and the time stamp is 15:26. It wasn't a massive email and it disappeared from the Outbox while my system clock was still on 15:25. I don't think it will change my life significantly if this carries on but I thought someone might know why and how this happens.
SYNACK Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 It will have grabbed the time of sending off the server, it may have taken a short while to be processed or your servers clock may be a little bit faster than you computers.

The time sync mechanisum is not perfect, besides as I said it may have taken a short time for exchange to have accepted the message for delivery.
