Jobos Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 We had in house Exchange when I started and HT shared his calendar with staff. Since then we have moved to 365. All of the day to day activities are in the calendar Now HT is retiring and the new HT wants to continue with the calendar but at some point the old HT’s 365 account will go so the calendar will need moving. Is it possible to move a 365 calendar and is it best to use a ‘public’ calendar? New HT uses the Outlook app and writes the calendar on the staff room board each day so would need something compatible that he could use on his phone.
jslate1980 Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 You could open the old heads account on outlook client then export a copy of the calendar and the import it into the new heads account.
jmak Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 We use the calendar associated with the generic office@ for that
Danp Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Give the new head permissions to the old head's mailbox and move the calendar over (drag and drop)
Jobos Posted May 16, 2019 Author Posted May 16, 2019 Thanks all. I'm going to recommend a combination of two ideas - we have the generic office@ so will export the heads calendar and import it into the office@ account. That way staff will not need to alter their settings if or when the head changes.
