Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me.

I'm a newbie to SIMS and with no handover have basically had to use the guides to train myself in my new position.

Anyway, anything runs fine, but we are needing to add results populated in the marksheets (in aspects) to a report.

I have got to the Assessment option and added it, and used the red book to filter with "contains" however it is just showing a count.

I would like to be able to pull through the last three cycle target grades for each student.

Could someone advise me how, what am I doing wrong.

Much appreciated!!

Is there a reason why you are doing this in a SIMS report? It would be easier to create an assessment template if that works for what you are trying to achieve.

Hello,

We have the Marksheet with all the information in, but we need to populate additional columns with UPN, Scaled scores, KS2 APS, PP, Disadvantaged etc etc, so all of that is on the report and there's around 19 columns of that and we only wanted 6 from the marksheet so this way seemed better.

You will need to bring through the "Result" data item from within the Assessment subreport, you get a count if you haven't selected any fields from the subreport.

Thank you, it did pull through the result. That's great!

Is it possible to set it so each result is in a column, term1 column, term 2 column etc or should that format be in a marksheet?

Use result sets. So if you have an aspect called Maths Test you would assign the first term's results to the result set Autumn Y7, Spring Y7, etc.

If you highlight the subreport blue folder on your data items there is an arrow icon on the right, if you click this it clones the subreport and you can then filter for different results in each subreport. Don't forget to rename each Result column or you won't know which is which..

Thank you both, we'll try this.

Wish we could of done it on Marksheets, may have been easier.

We just wanted several BLANK columns left and you can't add a blank column in a marksheet without making multiple "blank" aspects.

*Update* I found it!!!

So, sorry, I have one last question.

How do I rename the columns, I've never done that.

I've right clicked and looked around but can't seem to see the property in the report design.

When you highlight the "Result" data field for the subreport there is a box near the top of the screen which is a text box with the current name in, you can over type with the name you want to use.
