I need to provide pricing to a MAT who use Schools Broadband, SWGfL and Exa across their academies.

The solution needs to create an IPSEC VPN to Azure. I know it is possible via SB and SWGfL, but just wondering what equipment or firewall solution Exa customers generally get? Is it firewall that you have access to?

16 IPs on EdgeRouter Pro, forwarded to whatever firewall you want, they suggest Fortigate, so I bought some of those and configured it myself. They'll do it for you for a price if you wish. A setting on the router forwards web traffic to their proxy, I assume.

Exa supply the router, but it's a real router, not what home users call a router. It routes 16 IPs to one port on it for incoming traffic, and anything you send it out to the internet. Doesn't do NAT or filtering etc etc

Ok.

And then the customer provides their own firewall solution?

Yes, the recommended a fortigate, they'd provide and configure it for a price, I did it myself instead. This is al assuming we're talking fiber leased lines, not DSL

Line type isn’t confirmed. So you think there is a different solution for DSL?

We got a Ubiquiti router 1 month ago.

6 ports, 1 for LAN, 1 for Backup ADSL if you buy it, 1 for fibre outbound.

Filtering is a separate but included product that can be turned off if preferred.

Will Check Model Monday.
