Manny-Tech Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 We have a student whereby we need to restrict access to email for a period of time, around 4 weeks, if I block the user on the O365 Admin Console it is just re-enabled next time the Azure AD Sync runs. I need to retain access to local resources for this particular student so disabling their AD account isn't an option. Any way around this? Any creative suggestions?
3s-gtech Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 You should be able to do this the same way we do with Exchange on-site - find the user in the ECP, select them and choose Disable for Outlook Web App under Email connectivity. This should do it unless you have set them up on Outlook.
Mako Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Find the user in the O365 admin centre. School down to E-Mail settings, then e-mail apps. Click Edit and move all the sliders into the "off" position. If you eliminate only Outlook Web App they can still access things via mobile e-mail apps.
