Required as soon as possible

Starting as soon as possible, we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring candidate with a real passion for working with young people.

Historic Ripon may be the third smallest city in Britain, but it’s home to one of the country’s best performing academies. In our January 2016 Ofsted inspection, we were judged outstanding in all areas. Ofsted recognise that ‘Outstanding teaching is at the root of students’ excellent achievement’ and ‘the excellent behaviour of students contributes to an outstanding climate for learning’.

The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of general hardware and software as well as being highly organised and having excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of team is essential and experience of working in an ICT support role or similar would be an advantage. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’.

We believe that all teaching and support staff posts within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of supporting student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such, we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious professionals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic, driven professionals to join our Family of Schools. The school became part of the Outwood Grange Family of Schools in 2010, and were judged to be an 'Outstanding' School in all four major categories in our last Ofsted inspection.

Please note that there is currently a job evaluation exercise being undertaken across the Trust. The salary advertised for this post is therefore subject to job evaluation and may change.

For more information and to apply, please go to: www.outwood.com > Vacancies.

Closing date: Midday on 14 December 2018.

Interview date: 20 December 2018.

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
