71239 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 In the school I work at multiple teachers can teach a single class. To display this information I know i can use Nova & do this report: Reports > Curriculum Analysis > List of Classes for a Year(s) Is there anyway I can display this information just using the SIMS reporting engine? Thanks, Liam
bobsmith Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I'm just having a play after seeing this. This is what I've got so far. Build a report focussed on the data area: Subject then use the sub report "classes for subject" and within that pull the "supervisors" sub report. It's giving me the teachers that teach each class (including the split classes) but it's duplicating some teachers for no good reason. Possibly a good starting point? 1
bobsmith Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 Try this Classes with ALL teachers who teach them.RptDef.txt it's based off the suggestion I above but i've put a load of sub report filtering in to actually get accurate numbers of staff showing. just rename it to remove the .txt and it should import fine. 3
71239 Posted November 28, 2018 Author Posted November 28, 2018 Sounds great, although I'm having in issue when i download the file you sent. It doesn't have .txt on the end when I download it and automatically converts to Classes with ALL teachers who teach them.RptDef but as a text document, which I can't import.
bobsmith Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 in windows explorer make sure to enable viewing the file extensions. then you can remove the .txt bit off the end which will fix it. 1
71239 Posted November 29, 2018 Author Posted November 29, 2018 Thanks that worked, ended up doing it at home because our machines are so locked down... Report is amazing however!
Sambo69 Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Hi Bob hope you are still there I cannot open the report. Is there another way I can view it. I could build it from a text document if you could upload in another format.
