[ms office - 2016] Anyone else having problems with downloaded sheets/presentations?

Have MS upped the security settings of late?

 

I'm getting more and more reports of Office Apps crashing when opening downloaded/emailed files. Simple enough to fix by "unblocking" the file in Properties, but this is (of course) far too onerous for most staff.

Haven't got to the bottom of reasons why either

Seems to be anything, not just G Drive here.

Yep, it's any file download from the internet it seems. Odd that so many of us are affected yet there's nothing online about it
