Trying to install Windows 7 on a HP ProDesk 600G2 Mini-Desktop PC

We have this PC, a HP ProDesk 600 G2. It was built with Windows 10, however all our PC's have Windows 7 64-Bit. Everytime we try and run the Windows 7 installation disc, once we get to the screen where you

select the region etc, you lose complete control of the Keyboard and Mouse, so you cannot progress any further with installing Windows 7. This is obviously because there are no USB 3.0 drivers in the Windows 7 installation, could anyone give any advice how to get round this, so I can be successful with installing the operating system.

Recently released Intel processors do not support the install of Windows 7. Time for you to deploy Windows 10

Agreed with the above, 7 is probably not supported on that hardware (6th gen Intel and AMD Ryzen onwards, so depends what spec it is). You may get further if the mobo has any USB 2.0 ports, it may have a 2.0 header on the board that you could use. Really, you're on a hiding to nothing with a 9 year old OS with 14 months of support left.

We had the same with ours, you’ll need to bundle the driver into the win7 iso, in our case we connected to the machines via sccm remote control to install the drivers
